"Introduction to Hebrew" by Moshe Greenberg presents the basics of the grammar of the Hebrew language. It is adequate in this capacity, in that it leaves nothing out that is of importance.

This is a very good book for learning BH. It works very well with a teacher and will work for a self-study book, IF you know a reasonable about about how languages work.

I have used both this grammar and Lambdin's. This grammar is better organized, however it is very challenging for students, because the paradigms come fast and furious.
